Through Memories

The focus is initially drawn to the bottom page - some smudged pencil that could resemble a memory passing through an abstract head as a thought. This is definitely a weird thing to think about, but it’s not the only meaning the drawing holds. There is a less-obvious parallel. Up top, you can see that there was a former drawing on the previous page - a crocodile-looking creature with the words "PALE MOSS" written beneath it. No idea what that means. I think it sounds cool though (maybe you could name your next band Pale Moss). Anyway, you can see that the imprint of this drawing shows up in the shading of the "passing memory". That’s the second, more literal interpretation of the words. The pencil imprint passes through the page as a memory, just as we pass through life as memories, turning from one page to the next. Pretty nifty, right.

The six ovals on top are a reflection of my recent obsession with the base-12 system.
