They call it the language of the web.  
I started using *JavaScript* on a specialized virtual environment where digital plastic bricks existed. Until it didn’t. Then I stuck with *JavaScript* as my primary programming language.

- *JavaScript* runtimes:
  - *[[Node js|Node.js]]* - In which it runs, it runs there on there. It works, apparently.
  - *Bun* - Do Not Interact.

They say it has various pitfalls. Your doctor would tell you: “Stop moving it that way.”.
