- what I would like to do next is set up [[conduwuit]] in hypha using a [[coop cloud]] recipe and try that out, as we could use/"recommend" Element while cutting most of our dependency on the matrix foundation. but I really, really don’t want to do that and then hear complaints about me not investing my time in XMPP or another alternative :) so, if you want to suggest a particular tech stack we could deploy to test in addition to conduwuit+element, please do so now. [[zulip]] is another popular option I think it’d be nice to try, although it’s more of a collab suite than a general chat platform in my experience.

seems well maintained and supports multiple server implementations, including [[conduwuit]] and (new to me) continuwuity
