some people have requested it (two I think, not lots). and maybe us :) as I want to run several agoras in [[hypatia]], and it seems like maybe worth trying to do it this way.
I wonder if masto.host and keeping it simple that way is ideal or it’d be better to just run the instance as a container from scratch in [[hypatia]]. one advantage of doing that: I’d personally get some experience administering an initial low-stakes (but still useful) instance.
Unfortunately, a number of repositories are now inaccessible due to a variety of reasons:
I was pretty dumb and I managed to nuke git.anagora.org and git.agor.ai while ‘freeing up disk’ in [[hypatia]]. apologies to the community for the disruption caused! this includes protopian All in. π₯₯π΄ charismatic_shell π π
some repositories just 404 nowadays; it seems people deleted them or decided to make them private (I’m not sure but I think github may return a 404 instead of a 401 for a repository which is private?). I am thinking of sending a reminder that the Agora is trying to update these repos and failing in case it is a mistake, I could send an email to the email who signed up for the Agora account.
